During the meeting, issues relating to bilateral assistance and the upcoming constituent assembly elections were discussed. Outgoing Ambassador Grace said Australia was ready to extend help to Nepal for the elections.[break]
On the occasion, Chairman Regmi said present government was determined to hold CA election in a free and fair atmosphere, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Similarly, he expressed gratitude to Australia for her assistance to Nepal and hoped that the assistance would continue in future as well.
Ms Grace is returning home upon completion of her tenure in Nepal.
