B div clubs select representatives for ANFA election

KATHMANDU: A meeting of B division football clubs held on Monday has selected five clubs to represent them in the upcoming election of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).



However, the election date of ANFA is yet to be announced. According to a press statement issued by ANFA on Monday, the five clubs were selected unanimously by the representatives of B division clubs. [break]



The selected clubs are Laligurans Pulchowk Sports Club of Pulchowk, Shree Kumari Club of Balkhu, Mahabir Club of Kalikasthan, Tusal Club of Tusal and Satdobato Youth Club of Satdobato. ANFA President Ganesh Thapa has already started campaigning to secure a sixth consecutive term as ANFA president. There are currently 15 B division clubs in Nepali football.
