In the meeting, Dr. Moni congratulated Khanal on his election as Prime Minister of Nepal and expressed Bangladesh´s willingness work in close cooperation with Nepal.
She also apprised Prime Minister Khanal of the progress made in recent SAARC ministerial meeting held in Thimpu.
In response, Prime Minister Khanal appreciated the Bangladesh´s proposal for SAARC Charter of Democracy and expressed commitment to complete the peace process and constitution drafting.
Dr. Moni also said that Bangladesh´s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina always gives importance to relations with Nepal.
