SURKHET, June 15: Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Karnali State Naresh Bhandari has said that the government is working to make the Safe State campaign successful.
Speaking at the concluding session of a three-day VAW training of trainers here Friday, he said the State cannot become prosperous without peace and security.

He also shared that the Karnali State government had begun the peace and security campaign in order to build a prosperous, developed and exemplary State.
Karnali State Police Chief DIG Mahesh Bikram Shah said that the campaign will bring to light the anomalies hidden and active in the State. Journalist Aarati Chataut said VAW should not be regarded as part of lifestyle.
A total of 40 participants from the 10 districts in the State took part in the programme organised by Karnali State Police Office, Surkhet.
