KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Dr Sher Bahadur Pun, chief of the Clinical Research Unit at Sukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital, will be honored with the International Health Service Award 2022.
The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA is going to bestow the International Health Service Award-2022 on Dr Pun. The NRNA chapter in California, USA, has decided to give the award of USD 1,100 to Dr Pun.

According to the NRNA, a special ceremony will be organized on December 22 to award Dr Pun in the presence of the representatives of Nepal-based organizations. The award is given in appreciation of the role played by Dr Pun in saving the people’s lives from deadly infectious diseases.
"In high appreciation of his contribution, we have decided to dedicate this year's International Health Service Award 2022, established by our organization NRNA, California, America, to Dr Sher Bahadur Pun," said a letter sent by the association.
