Speaking at a press conference organized by the Nepal Press Union, Banke chapter, here on Sunday, he said,"The NC has agreed for the CJ-led election government though there were differences of opinion in the party as the election was the best alternative to end the current political crisis."[break]
He refuted that NC was not dragged to the Unified CPN (Maoist) proposal but favoured it for transforming the UCPN-Maoist to democratic practices.
The NC would be forced to draw boundary of liberality if the UCPN-Maoist thinks as weakness his party´s good intention, said NC leader KC responding to a query from journalists.
He said his party would not compromise with any forces against constitutionalism, democracy and pluralism. Election is the life of democracy, he reiterated.
