Former King Gyanendra celebrates 79th birthday (Photos)

KATHMANDU, July 7: Former King Gyanendra Shah is celebrating his 79th birthday today.

Since early morning, well-wishers have gathered at Nirmal Niwas in Kathmandu to extend birthday wishes to the former monarch.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden and other leaders also visited his residence.

Nirmal Niwas was opened to the public today for well-wishers to offer greetings on the occasion of Shah’s birthday.
