KATHMANDU, Oct 6: The price of gold has been setting new records daily. On Sunday, gold traded at an all-time high of Rs 230,600 per tola. On Monday, the price surged further by Rs 2,500, reaching Rs 233,100 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
On Sunday alone, gold had increased by Rs 7,400 per tola.

The price of silver has also gone up, rising by Rs 30 to Rs 2,960 per tola.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 3,936.32 per ounce, while silver stands at USD 48.54 per ounce.
