KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Indra Bahadur Baniya has been appointed as the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province.

Nepali Congress (NC) Parliamentary Party leader Baniya assumed the office with the support of 64 lawmakers from the NC and CPN-UML in the 110-member provincial assembly.
Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota appointed Baniya as CM on Tuesday.
