Guests will get a feel of the Indra Jatra atmosphere with traditional Newari food, music, dance and cultural setups. A replica of the living goddess, Kumari, and a chariot will be kept in the courtyard while there will be a showcase of seven to eight traditional dances including the lakhe dance, the dhime dance and the elephant or the pulu kisi dance of Indra Jatra.
Newari starters in the form of Samaya Baji and a lavish buffet will also be served. Guests will also be able to enjoy the free flow of traditional Newari alcohol (thwo and aaila).
The festivities start from 6:30 pm onwards.
