Journalist and policemen recover from COVID-19 in Bara

BARA, June 4: Seven persons were discharged from the Kalaiya-based COVID-19 Hospital after recovery from COVID-19 on Thursday morning.

BARA, June 4: Seven persons were discharged from the Kalaiya-based COVID-19 Hospital after recovery from COVID-19 on Thursday morning.



Those who have recovered are six policemen of the District Police Office, Kalaiya and one Journalist.

Dr Birendra Kumar Mandal, medical superintendent of the hospital, told Republica Online that six policemen and a journalist were discharged after they tested negative in the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. “Among the 50 patients of COVID-19 undergoing treatment, seven have been discharged today,” he added.


They have been discharged after 10 days of treatment, according to the hospital.


The discharged policemen include one Inspector, one sub-inspector and four constables.
