SURKHET, Oct 16: Deepak Karki of Aathabis Municipality-3 of Dailekh, who jumped from the Tolikhola Bridge under Ratna Highway in Bheriganga Municipality-10 of Surkhet, died during treatment.
The police said that he jumped off the bridge around 9:30 PM on Sunday night.

According to District Police Office Spokesperson DSP Laxman Shahi, Karki was coming to Surkhet from Nepalgunj. Karnali Province 247 numbered bus stopped near Toli Khola bridge for passengers to have food. The bus he was traveling in had stopped over near the bridge for the passengers to have their dinner
“That's when he jumped off the bridge,” DSP Shahi said. The police have impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver, Prem Nepali, 27, from Turmakhand Rural Municipality-3 of Achham.
