KATHMANDU, Nov 27: Rikesh Maharjhan, 26, of Kathmandu has been elected to the post of the secretary of Kathmandu Constituency-1 in the recently held convention.
Among the 206 votes cast in the regional convention, the 26-year old Maharjhan received 114 votes.

Newly-elected Secretary Maharjhan has been an active member of the party prior to the 13th General Convention of NC. In the convention, Maharjhan was elected as the NC member and joint secretary of the working committee of Kathmandu-10.
