ILAM, March 9: Nishkal Rai of the Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected from Ilam constituency number 1, securing 13,912 votes.
His closest competitor, Binod Nembang Limbu of the Shram Sanskriti Party, received 13,493 votes, while Kajiman Kagate of the CPN-UML came third with 11,710 votes.
