RSP finalizes proportional representation list of 57 MPs

KATHMANDU, March 15: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has finalized its list of 57 members to be elected under the proportional representation system.



According to party spokesperson Manisha Jha, the secretariat meeting held today approved a list comprising 48 women and 9 men.

The finalized list includes 17 from the Khas Arya group, 16 from Indigenous nationalities, 9 from Madhesi communities, 8 from Dalits, 4 from Tharu communities, and 3 from the Muslim community.


Jha stated that the list will be submitted to the Election Commission of Nepal today.


The party has not disclosed which individuals have been selected from each cluster. The names will be publicly released only after the Election Commission officially verifies and approves the submitted list.
