KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has extended congratulations to Foreign Minister of Nepal Bala Nanda Sharma on his appointment.
In a congratulatory message sent on Wednesday, Lavrov said that relations between Russia and Nepal have traditionally been friendly and constructive.

He reaffirmed his readiness to work jointly to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the interests of the peoples of both countries.
The Russian Foreign Minister also wished Foreign Minister Sharma for his good health and every success in carrying out his responsibilities, the Russian Embassy here stated.
