KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Police have arrested six persons on the charge of possessing red panda hides from Mahalaxmi Municipality-4 in Lalitpur district.
A police team from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division, Minbhawan, arrested those six individuals and confiscated red panda hides.

According to police, the individuals were arrested from a rented room in Imadol. The arrested have been identified as Sunil Gole, 43, of Sindhupalchowk, Prakash Tamang, 24, of Sindhupalchowk, San Kumar Rai, 41, of Bhojpur, Kishor,18, of Khotang, Deepak Limbu, Taplejung, and Ambar Bahadur Tamang, 24, of Sindhuli.
The arrested have already been sent to the District Forest Office, Lalitpur, for further investigation into the case, said police.
