KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The first meeting of provincial assembly of Province 3 has set February 10 for the election of province's speaker.

Following the call from Governor Anuradha Koirala, the meeting was chaired by Dormani Poudel, the senior most member of the 110-member assembly, which will continue until the elections for both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are held.
During the meeting Provincial Assembly member from CPN-UML Astalaxmi Shakya, Indra Bahadur Baniya from Nepali Congress, Shalikram Jamarkattel from CPN (Maoist Center), Ramesh Paudel from Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Prem Tamang from Naya Shakti Party Nepal, Surendra Gosain from Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Rita Gurung from Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Democratic) and Rita Majhi from Rastriya Prajatantra Party expressed their views.
