Likewise, the number of people injured in the earthquake reached 2,428, according to National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC). Of the total injured, 1,128 are currently undergoing treatment at various health facilities across earthquake-affected districts.
Among those injured during the earthquake are 18 Nepal Police Force (APF) personnel and six Nepal Army (NA) personnel.
According to the NEOC, the highest death toll was reported from Dolakha, the epicenter of Tuesday's earthquake, where 37 people were killed.
Likewise, 12 people were reported dead in Sindhupalchowk, 5 each in Ramechhap and Kathmandu, 2 each in Rautahat, Mahottari, Sunsari and Gorkha. According to data made available by the NEOC, Lalitpur, Sarlahi, Dhanusha, Nuwakot and Udayapur have each reported one death as of Wednesday evening.
A total of 1,549 injuries were reported from Kathmandu Valley alone, with 1,049 in Kathmandu 286 in Lalitpur and 250 in Bhaktapur district. Likewise, the number of injured persons in Dolakha, Kavre, Makawanpur and Sindhuli stood at 117,111, 83 and 55, respectively.
