ITAHARI, July 21: Two boys have drowned in a Tyangrakhola river, while swimming in Itahari. The incident occurred at Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-3 on Sunday afternoon.

Those losing their lives while swimming were Dipsan Chaudhary, 8, from Kalyanchowk of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-3, and Kribas Limbu, 11, originally from Chainpur of Sankhuwasabha and currently staying with relatives in the same locality, according to police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at Area Police Office, Itahari, Laxmi Bhandari, stated that although both of the boys were rescued and rushed to Birat Teaching Hospital, they were declared dead upon arrival.
