KATHMANDU, March 6: Vote counting under the Proportional Representation (PR) system of the House of Representatives (HoR) election has also begun.
According to Election Commission (EC) Information Officer Suman Ghimire, the counting of PR votes has started from Kathmandu-1.

He further stated that out of 19,728 votes counted so far under the PR system, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured 11,562 votes. Similarly, the Nepali Congress (NC) has received 3,664 votes, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) 1,752 votes, the CPN-UML 1,152 votes, the Shram Sanskriti Party 441 votes, and the Nepali Communist Party has received 392 votes.
Likewise, the Rastriya Pariwartan Party has secured 273 votes, while other parties have received fewer than 100 votes each.
