The meeting did not reach any conclusion on the draft proposals as system of governance which determines who among the president and prime minister holds the executive rights and election are major issues.[break]
“We discussed at length but there was no conclusion as main agenda were inconclusive,” Maoist leader Dev Gurung said after the meeting.
A participant leader of the meeting said that Speaker Subas Nemwang said he would hold informal meetings with top leaders on those issues.
The mechanism will meet on Tuesday.
