KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Senior Leader Balendra Shah, popularly known as Balen, has filed his candidacy from Jhapa Constituency-5 for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

Shah registered his nomination after completing the formal process at the Election Office in Jhapa.
CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli is also contesting from Jhapa-5. With Shah’s nomination, the electoral atmosphere in the constituency has further heated up.
