KATHMANDU, July 14: The public can now access real-time information on blood stocks across the country through the Nagarik app.
With the addition of the 'Blood Information' portal to the app, users can check the number of units available for each blood group at blood transfusion centers nationwide.

The Ministry of Health and Population said the service enables users to view the availability of different blood types at blood transfusion centers across Nepal from a single platform.
According to the ministry, the feature has been integrated into the Nagarik app to make access to healthcare services more efficient, transparent, and technology-driven.
The ministry expects the service to help patients and their families quickly obtain critical information during emergencies, streamline blood stock management, and improve coordination of blood donation services.
