KATHMANDU, Dec 4: Sudurpashchim Royals maintained their unbeaten run in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) with a commanding 49-run victory over Chitwan Rhinos. Chasing 170 runs, Chitwan were bowled out for 120 in 17.1 overs, giving Sudurpashchim their sixth consecutive win of the league.
Puneet Mehra led the bowling attack with an impressive spell, taking 3 wickets while conceding just 14 runs in 2.1 overs. Captain Dipendra Singh Airee, Hikmat Mahara, Avinash Bohara and Ishan Pandey claimed one wicket each, helping restrict Chitwan cheaply.

For Chitwan, Ravi Bopara (29), Dev Khanal (28), Arjun Saud (16) and Kushal Malla (15) were the only batters to reach double figures, with the rest failing to settle at the crease.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being sent in to bat, Sudurpashchim posted 169 for 4 in 20 overs. Opener Chris Lynn top-scored with 75 off 56 balls, while Vinod Bhandari (21), Arif Sheikh (24) and captain Airee (24) contributed valuable runs.
In bowling for Chitwan, Saif Zaib took 2 wickets, while Ranjit Kumar and George Scrimshaw claimed one wicket each.
