8-party task force meeting at Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU, March 7: A meeting of the eight-party task force is being held to discuss the election of the president and vice president and current political issues.



NC Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak said that the meeting is going to be held at the office of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party in Singha Durbar in a short while.

The task force chaired by NC Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka has leaders of CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Nepal, Nagarik Unmukti Party, Janamat Party and Rastriya Jana Morcha.


Senior NC leader Ramchandra Paudel is the common candidate from the eight-party alliance in the presidential election to be held on March 9.
