Sept 12: British American Tobacco Plc said on Thursday it would lay off 2,300 employees globally by January as it looks to simplify its operational structure.
Speaking on the matter, General Secretary Pradip Paudel said top party leaders are consulting on the way forward, and the party’s official position will be announced by afternoon.
