KATHMANDU, July 8: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sorrow over the damage caused by the recent flood in the Bhotekoshi River and surrounding areas of Rasuwa.
Through a social media post, Deuba appealed to NC leaders and party members in the region to actively engage in rescue and relief efforts.

“I express deep sorrow over the damage caused by the flood in the Bhotekoshi River,” he wrote, “I urge the government to immediately and effectively carry out rescue and relief operations in the affected areas. I also call on all local leaders and members of the NC to join the efforts.”
