KATHMANDU, April 21: Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai has resigned from her position. She submitted her resignation to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli during a meeting on Monday.  



According to sources, Bhattarai cited health reasons for her decision to step down. Her resignation comes at a time when public school teachers have been protesting for the past 20 days, putting forth various demands.
