NAWALPUR, Feb 25: Nawalpur has mobilized over 5,000 workforce for the upcoming House of Representatives election being held on March 5.
Chief Returning Officer in Nawalpur-1, Kamal Prasad Gyawali, informed that as many as 1,869 election employees and 3,500 security persons were being mobilized to hold the March 5 election in a safe and peaceful atmosphere.
Similarly, election related employees would take care of the works relating to voting, while the security personnel would look after security arrangements. The workforce totaling 3,500 comprises the Nepali Army, the Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force and the Election Police.

Gyawali further informed that a voting officer is managed in each voting centre. The voting officers were being deployed after providing training on March 26 and 27.
The accessories of 51 kinds like swastik stamp, ballot papers, ballot box and ink were already received in the district.
Similarly, district election officer Lal Prasad Bhusal informed that some 600 million ballot papers were received in the district for the HoR election. The ballot papers arrived for FPTP category count 146 thousands and for proportional category count 145 thousands for constituency no-1 in the district.
Similarly, constituency no-2 in the district got 141 thousand sheets of ballot papers for each category.
There are 137,081 voters in constituency no-1 and 131,445 in constituency no-2.
Total 311 voting stations including a temporary voting centre are managed in the district.
