Final batch of Nepali peacekeepers returns from Iraq

Their return marks the conclusion of Nepal’s participation in the mission, which is set to officially end on December 31 this year. Three earlier batches had already returned home from Iraq.

KATHMANDU, July 29 : A 27-member final contingent of Nepali peacekeepers deployed in Iraq under the United Nations mission has returned home, according to the Nepali Army’s Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
