KATHMANDU, July 11: Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the Best Bank Award 2025 for Nepal by the Global Finance Magazine, marking the second consecutive year the bank has received the accolade.
The award acknowledges the bank's credibility, resource mobilization, network expansion, strategic partnerships, development of customer-centric services, and credit rating performance, among other criteria.

CEO Surendra Raj Regmi expressed gratitude to stakeholders—including the Government of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, shareholders, employees, and customers—stating that the award further motivates the bank to deliver even higher quality services, the bank said in a press release.
Global IME Bank is the first Nepali bank to receive this honor from Global Finance Magazine, which annually recognizes top central and commercial banks across regions including Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Central and Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Western Europe.
For 2025, Global Finance has awarded top banks such as HSBC (Hong Kong), State Bank of India (India), China Construction Bank (China), UOB Malaysia (Malaysia), The City Bank (Bangladesh), and SMBC (Japan), alongside Global IME Bank (Nepal) across various categories.
