HoR polls: EC sets cut-off date for voter age

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: The Election Commission (EC) has set the cut-off date for determining voter age for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5.



According to the EC, citizens who turn 18 by March 4 will be eligible to vote in the election. EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said that the details of individuals who meet this age requirement will be published on the EC’s website on December 6.

If there are any errors or complaints regarding the published details, voters can notify the EC from December 7 to 13. After completing necessary corrections, the EC will publish the final voter list on December 30, Bhattarai said.
