KATHMANDU, April 21: Two teams battled in the IPL 2025 on Sunday. In the 37th match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Punjab Kings by 7 wickets. Punjab scored 157 runs after losing 6 wickets. Bengaluru chased down the target in the 19th over after losing just 3 wickets.
In the second match, Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 9 wickets. Mumbai reached the 177-run target in just 15.4 overs, losing only one wicket.

Virat Kohli led RCB’s charge with 73 runs, while Devdutt Padikkal added 61. Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma each claimed two wickets. For Punjab, Prabhsimran Singh contributed 33 runs and Shashank Singh added 31. Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, and Yuzvendra Chahal each took one wicket.
Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav powered Mumbai’s innings with formidable half-centuries, while Jasprit Bumrah picked up two wickets. For CSK, Shivam Dube scored 50 runs and Ravindra Jadeja made 53 while claiming one wicket as well. With this loss, CSK has suffered their sixth defeat of the season, managing to win only two matches so far.
