KATHMANDU, July 31: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has held discussions with religious leaders regarding restoring normalcy and maintaining social harmony following the incident in Sunsari.
He met with Maulana Narul Husein and Maulana Mohammad Khalid at the party's parliamentary office in Singha Durbar, according to Lamichhane's secretariat.

The RSP president also held discussions with Ramchandra Tiwari, the general secretary of the World Hindu Federation, and Rajuraj Phuyal, a member of the Federation's secretariat.
During the meeting, Lamichhane urged them to use their good offices to stop the protest demonstrations in different parts of the country, including Sunsari and Siraha, and to appeal for harmony.
