KATHMANDU, Feb 21: The Supreme Court (SC) has set March 6 for a routine hearing in the writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).
A total of 17 petitions challenging the dissolution were registered at the Constitutional Bench of the SC. However, the court has yet to fix a date for the final hearing. Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala said the next routine hearing has been scheduled for March 6.

Earlier, on October 29, the Constitutional Bench conducted a preliminary hearing and directed the respondents to submit written replies within seven days, excluding travel time. The respondents have already furnished their responses.
On December 24, the bench also ordered that supplementary writ petitions related to the dissolution of the HoR, the government formation process, and the demand for reinstatement of the House be heard together.
