Khangendra Rai alias Basan Kirati was arrested with arms by a special patrolling team of police, informed the source. [break]
Police confiscated a country-made pistol and four bullets, identity card signed by president Biwas, donation receipts and political documents.
However, the police haven´t made Rai public yet. District Police Chief SP Basanta Kumar Thapa informed that he will be made public soon. He was arrested on the charge of being involved in the attack on the police station at Nunthala.
He has also been charged with collecting donations from secretary and employees of VDCs.
