China to repatriate 125 Nepalis stranded in Kerung

They became stranded in Kerung after the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River on August 10. China is arranging their return to Nepal, according to Rasuwa Assistant Chief District Officer Dhruv Prasad Adhikari.

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Nepali nationals stranded in Kerung, China, following the Bhotekoshi flood are returning home today, Thursday.

They became stranded in Kerung after the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River on August 26. China is arranging their return to Nepal, according to Rasuwa Assistant Chief District Officer Dhruv Prasad Adhikari.


Adhikari said the Chinese side will repatriate 125 Nepali nationals to Nepal today through the Nepali Embassy.
