KATHMANDU, July 30: Gold prices edged up in the domestic market on Friday, while silver prices declined compared to the previous trading day.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold increased by Rs 800 per tola to reach Rs 284,000. Meanwhile, silver fell by Rs 10 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,310 per tola.
Gold price rises by Rs 1,600 per tola to set new record
On Thursday, fine gold was priced at Rs 283,200 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 4,320 per tola, the FENEGOSIDA reported.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,076 per ounce, while silver is trading at USD 57 per ounce, according to international media reports.
