How will the weather be on election day?

According to the DHM, while there will be no possibility of rain, the weather in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will be partly cloudy with intermittent sunshine. The weather in other areas is expected to remain generally clear.

KATHMANDU, March 4: Meteorologists have said that there is no possibility of rain anywhere in the country on the day of the House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5.



The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) said that since no weather system is currently active to cause rainfall, there will be no chance of rain across the country on Thursday. According to the DHM, while there will be no possibility of rain, the weather in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will be partly cloudy with intermittent sunshine. The weather in other areas is expected to remain generally clear.

Meanwhile, meteorologist Sanjeeb Adhikari informed citizens that there is a slight possibility of light, scattered rainfall in isolated regions in the country on Wednesday and Friday.
