KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to address the nation on Thursday. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, a Cabinet meeting will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, following Prime Minister Karki's address to the nation at 6:00 PM.
This will be her first address to the nation after she assumed office as the Head of the interim government backed by Gen-Z people.

On September 12, former Chief Justice Karki was appointed the PM following the Gen-Z protests that occurred on September 8 and 9.
The interim government, led by Karki, had dissolved the House of Representatives and announced elections for March 5 of the following year.
