CHITWAN, Aug 6: A male rhino aged around 20 years was found dead due to electrocution in Bhairabpur, Madi Municipality-2 in Chitwan.

According to Avinash Thapa Magar, information officer at Chitwan National Park, the rhino was discovered lifeless in a paddy field at around 9:30 AM on Wednesday.
Thapa Magar confirmed that the rhino’s horn and hooves were intact. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine who installed the electric current in the field and for what purpose.
