KATHMANDU, Dec 29: CPN-UML has picked Devendra Dahal as its Parliamentary Party (PP) leader in the National Assembly.
UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli nominated Dahal as PP leader in line with the UML Federal Parliamentary Party Statute, 2077.

Earlier, Khim Lal Bhattarai was the PP leader of the UML in the National Assembly. The post remained vacant after Bhatatrai tendered his resignation.
Before this, Dahal was the chief whip of the PP in the National Assembly.
