PARBAT, June 2: A person died, and two others received injuries in a jeep accident that occurred at Arthardandakharka of Kusma Municipality 14 in Parbat district last night.
Ward member Keshab Raj Paudel, 52, died in the accident that occurred after the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5865) fell 500 metres down the road. The vehicle was heading to Charipani from the ward office located at Arthardandakharka.

Paudel, who was seriously injured, was rushed to Pokhara for treatment, but the doctors announced him dead upon arrival.
Two others injured in the incident are Buddhi Sagar Paudel, 27, and Rajendra Paudel, 46, from the same locality. They have been undergoing treatment at Manipur Hospital, Pokhara. Buddhi Sagar is the jeep driver, according to the police.
