KATHMANDU, Nov 17: The government has resumed issuing entry passes for Singha Durbar under the regular system. Following the recent Gen Z protests, entry passes had temporarily been issued directly from the main gate.
Previously, different ministries and government bodies issued passes from separate counters. However, after several of these counters and related structures were vandalized and set on fire during the protests, the pass-issuance process had been suspended.

Security officials said that regular entry procedures have resumed after necessary repairs were completed. According to a security officer stationed at the pass distribution desk, issuance of Singha Durbar entry passes according to the normal system began from November 12.
